ล่าสุดเพื่อเป็นการลงทีมต่อเนื่อง ในวันที่ 27 ธ.ค.57 ภูเก็ต เอฟซี มีคิวออกไปเยือนทีมร่วมลีกน้องใหม่อย่างสงขลา ยูไนเต็ด ที่เพิ่งร่วงตกชั้นลงมาในศึกยามาฮ่า ลีกวัน ในเวลา 16.00 น. ที่สนามติณสูลานนท์ และอีกหนึ่งนัดสำคัญ ที่จะโกอินเตอร์บินข้ามประเทศไปอุ่นเครื่องกับทีม เกลัง ยูไนเต็ด ทีมในลีกประเทศสิงคโปร์ ในวันที่ 15-17 ม.ค.นี้

โดย ผจก.ทีมยังบลัด ปริยวิศว์ อัจฉริยะฉาย ได้กล่าวถึงการเตรียมทีมว่า “เราเริ่มซ้อมกันมาได้ 1 อาทิตย์ และที่ผ่านมาได้จ้างโค้ชฟิตเนสมาทำการปรับสภาพนักเตะ ด้วยการเข้ายิม เพื่อสร้างกล้ามเนื้อที่ตรงจุด รวมไปถึงการซ้อมเช้า-เย็น  เรียกได้ว่าโปรแกรมแน่นมาก ซึ่งเกมอุ่นเครื่องไม่ได้ซีเรียสเรื่องผลการแข่งขัน แต่เป็นการลองทีมตำแหน่ง และจุดบกพร่องเท่านั้น”
