เมื่อวันนี้ 9 พฤศจิกายน 2559 เวลา 10.00 น. ที่ห้องรับรอง ศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต นายโชคชัย เดชอมรธัญ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต ให้การต้อนรับ นายโน ควัง-อิล เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเกาหลีประจำประเทศไทย,นายฮัน จี ซู เลขานุการโทและกงสุล , นายยุน อิน ฮัน นักวิชาการและล่าม และคณะ ในโอกาสเข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ เพื่อสานสัมพันธไมตรีที่ดีต่อกันระหว่างสาธารณรัฐเกาหลีและประเทศไทย

นายโน ควัง-อิล เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเกาหลีประจำประเทศไทย กล่าวว่า จากข่าวสาร เกี่ยวกับ ภัยพิบัติ ,สถานการณ์ความไม่ปลอดภัย ของประเทศไทย ส่งผลให้ปัจจุบันประชาชนเกาหลี เดินทาง มาประเทศไทยน้อยลง ดังนั้น จึงอยากให้ รัฐบาลไทย และจังหวัดภูเก็ตให้ความสำคัญ กับระบบการรักษาความปลอดภัย เพื่อสร้างความเชื่อมั่น ให้กับนักท่องเที่ยว โดยเฉพาะชาวเกาหลี ที่เดินทางมาท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทย

นายโชคชัย เดชอมรธัญ กล่าวว่า สาธารณรัฐเกาหลีและประเทศไทยมีความสัมพันธ์อันดีมายาวนาน และก่อนหน้าที่จังหวัดโซโชว์ สาธารณรัฐเกาหลีเดินทางมากระชับความสัมพันธไมตรีกับจังหวัดภูเก็ตโดยมีการเล่นกีฬาแบดมินตันร่วมกัน ซึ่งมีจังหวัดโซโชว์ ความก้าวหน้า ทางด้านเทคโนโลยี และมีความสัมพันธ์ที่ดี กับจังหวัดภูเก็ต จึงเป็นโอกาสอันดี ที่จะทำให้ เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยน เรียนรู้เทคโนโลยี ระหว่างกัน
