ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ตจัดพิธีต้อนรับ 2 นักปั่นไทย 2000 วันรอบโลก พร้อมเปิดนิทรรศการภาพถ่าย Bicycle Wind

เมื่อวันที่ 6 สิงหาคม  2558 ที่ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต นางมนฤดี เกตุพันธุ์ ผู้อำนวยการท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต พร้อมนายวิรัช พาที ผู้อำนวยการการกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานภูเก็ต และผู้เกี่ยวข้องร่วมให้การต้อนรับ 2 นักปั่นไทย “ทูต 2 ล้อ” และร่วมเปิด นิทรรศการภาพถ่าย Bicycle Wind

นางมนฤดี กล่าวว่า ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ตรู้สึกชื่นชมและยินดีที่ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ตได้มีโอกาสต้อนรับ 2 นักปั่นไทย นายเจริญ และนางอรวรรณ โอทอง “ทูต 2 ล้อ” พร้อมได้เปิดนิทรรศการภาพถ่ายในงานนิทรรศการภาพถ่าย Bicycle Wind ณ ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต โดยเป็นการรวบรวมภาพถ่าย World on a bike โดยเป็นนิทรรศการที่เป็นการถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวแห่งแรงบันดาลใจ ของทั้ง 2 ท่าน ทั้งนี้เพื่อให้ผู้ได้รับชมภาพนิทรรศการได้รับแรงบันดาลใจ กำลังใจ เกิดผลดีทางด้านจิตใจและได้รับแรงกระตุ้นพลังบวกด้านต่าง ๆ เกิดความคิดใหม่ ๆ ในการปั่นจักรยานและการสร้างสรรค์สิ่งที่มีคุณค่าต่อชีวิต นายเจริญ และนางอรวรรณ โอทอง “ทูต 2 ล้อ” เริ่มต้นปั่นจักรยานเมื่อปลายปี 2544 ซึ่งเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นที่ทั้งสองคนได้เริ่มออกเดินทางไปยังโลกกว้างเพื่อเดินทางไปยังรอบโลกกว่า 40 ประเทศ ใน 6 ทวีปรวมระยะเวลาทั้งสิ้น 5 ปี 11 เดือน กับอีก 1 วัน ซึ่งวันนี้ทั้งคู่ได้ทำความฝันของเขาประสบความสำเร็จ และเบื้องหลังของการเดินทางครั้งนี้ได้ถูกจุดประกายความฝันให้ปะทุโดย ทอม เคลย์เตอร์ (Tom Claytor) นักบินเดี่ยวที่จะบินให้ครบทั้ง 7 ทวีปทั่วโลก โดยใช้ชื่อว่า นักบินลูกทุ่ง ซึ่งเขาได้เดินทางมาแล้วเป็นเวลา 9 ปี ผ่านหลายประเทศทั่วโลก ซึ่งทอมก็ถือได้ว่าเป็นบุคคลสำคัญที่เป็นแรงบันดาลใจและให้คำแนะนำและปรึกษาต่างๆ อย่างมากโดยมีเป้าหมายสำคัญในการเดินทางทั้งนี้ก็คือปรารถนาที่จะปั่นจักรยานรอบโลก ด้วยความมุ่งมั่นและเพียรพยายาม ส่งเสริมสถาบัน ชาติ ศาสนา และ พระมหากษัตริย์ ส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวให้ชาวโลกรู้จักประเทศไทยมากขึ้น ในด้านขนบธรรมเนียม ประเพณี วัฒนธรรมอันดีงามของไทย รวมถึงต้องการจุดประกายให้ เด็ก เยาวชนไทยได้เปิดสายตาสู่โลกกว้าง ทำกิจกรรมร่วมกับโรงเรียน สถาบัน และ องค์กรต่างๆ ส่งเสริมการใช้จักรยานในกิจกรรมต่างๆกันในชีวิตประจำวันให้มากขึ้น ปั่นจักรยานเพื่อสุขภาพที่ดี เรียนรู้วัฒนธรรม ขนบประเพณี ของชนชาติต่างๆทั่วโลก นำเรื่องราว ข้อคิดเห็น และ ประสบการณ์การเดินทางมาถ่ายทอดสู่ชาวไทยและเพื่ออนุรักษ์ธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม
