จับกุมยาเสพติดใบพืชกระท่อมของกลาง 41.5 กก. ผู้ต้องหารวม 13 ราย

จับกุมกวาดล้างกลุ่มผู้ค้ายาเสพติด ตัดตอนเครือข่ายขบวนการค้ายาเสพติดในทุกระดับโดยมุ่งหวังให้เกิดความสงบเรียบร้อย และความปลอดภัยในชีวิตทรัพย์สินของประชาชนและให้เกิดความเชื่อมั่นจากนานาประเทศ

เมื่อวันที่ 17 พฤศจิกายน  2558  เวลา 15.00 น.  กองกำกับการตำรวจภูธร จังหวัดภูเก็ต พ.ต.อ.พีระยุทธ การะเจดีย์ รอง ผบก.ภ.จว.ภูเก็ต  พ.ต.อ.พินิจ ศิริชัย รอง ผบก.ภ.จว.ภูเก็ต พ.ต.อ.สมคิด บุญรัตน์ ผกก.ภ.จว.ภูเก็ต และเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจชุดจับกุม ร่วมกันแถลงข่าวการจับกุมเครือข่ายยาเสพติด(ใบพืชกระท่อม)

พ.ต.อ.สมคิด บุญรัตน์ ผกก.ภ.จว.ภูเก็ต ได้สืบสวนทราบว่า กลุ่มผู้ต้องหาซึ่งเป็นเครือข่ายยาเสพติดของผู้ค้ายาเสพติด (ใบพืชกระท่อม) ในพื้นที่จังหวัดกรุงเทพฯ มีพฤติกรรมลักลอบนำยาเสพติดประเภทใบพืชกระท่อมสด โดยมีการติดต่อซื้อขายผ่านทางเฟสบุ๊ค มาจำหน่ายให้กับลูกค้าผู้เสพและผู้ค้าใบกระท่อมรายย่อยในพื้นที่ อ.เมือง จ.ภูเก็ต และพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง ผู้ติดต่อสั่งซื้อจะโอนเงินเข้าบัญชีธนาคาร ในราคากิโลกรัมละ 900 บาท หลังจากโอนเงินเจ้าของยาเสพติดจะนำพืชกระท่อมตามจำนวนที่ติดต่อสั่งซื้อใส่กล่องพัสดุ ส่งมาให้กับลูกค้าในเครือข่ายผ่านทางบริษัทขนส่ง จึงได้สั่งการให้เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจชุดจับกุม ติดตามสืบสวนพฤติกรรมเพื่อจับกุมเรื่อยมา

ต่อมาในวันที่ 17 พฤศจิกายน 2558 เวลาประมาณ 09.00 น. ชุดจับกุมได้รับแจ้งจากสายลับว่า กลุ่มผู้ต้องหาซึ่งเป็นเครือข่ายยาเสพติด กำลังเดินทางไปรับใบพืชกระท่อมซึ่งได้ติดต่อสั่งซื้อไว้แล้วที่บริษัทขนส่งสินค้า  ชุดจับกุมจึงได้รายงานให้ผู้บังคับบัญชาทราบและร่วมกับสายลับในการวางแผนจับกุมตัวผู้ต้องหา โดยแบ่งกำลังเป็น 2 ชุดซุ่มสังเกตุการณ์บริเวณบริษัทฯที่เกิดเหตุ ต่อมาพบกลุ่มผู้ต้องหาเดินทางมารับกล่องลังพัสดุจากบริษัทฯ ที่เกิดเหตุ เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจชุดจับกุมจึงได้แสดงตัวเป็นเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ เพื่อขอตรวจสอบตรวจค้น พบของกลางเป็นใบพืชกระท่อมสดบรรจุอยู่ในถุงพาสติกแบบมีหูหิ้วสีเขียว แล้วใส่รวมกันอยู่ในกล่องพัสดุกระดาษสีน้ำตาลอีกชั้นหนึ่ง สอบถามกลุ่มผู้ต้องหารับว่าเป็นของพวกตนจริง จึงได้ยึดไว้เป็นของกลางจากนั้นได้แจ้งข้อกล่าวหาและสิทธิของผู้ต้องหาตามกฏหมาย สอบถามผู้ต้องหาทั้งหมดให้การรับสารภาพตลอดข้อกล่าวหา

ในการจับกุมในครั้งนี้ได้ของกลางใบพืชกระท่อม จำนวน 41.5 กิโลกรัม จับกุมตัวผู้ต้องหา 13 ราย โดยกล่าวหาว่า ร่วมกันมียาเสพติดให้โทษประเภท 5 (พืชใบกระท่อม) ไว้ในครอบครองโดยไม่ได้รับนุญาต
