เมื่อวันที่ 8 มีนาคม  2559  เวลา 14.00 น. นางพาณี โกยสมบูรณ์ นายกสมาคมนักเรียนเก่าเทศบาลปลูกปัญญาในพระอุปถัมภ์ พร้อมผู้เกี่ยวข้อง ร่วมแถลงข่าวเตรียมจัดปั่นจักรยาน “ปลูกปัญญาไนท์ไรด์” ครั้งที่ 2 ต่อสื่อมวลชนในจังหวัดภูเก็ต ที่ศูนย์การค้าไลม์ไลท์อเวนิวภูเก็ต

นางพาณี โกยสมบูรณ์  กล่าวว่า การจัดงาน “ปลูกปัญญาไนท์ไรด์” เป็นการปั่นจักรยานกลางคืน ภายใต้แนวคิด “ชวนคนในหลาดไปเหวนในทู้” เป็นกิจกรรมสร้างความมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว และกีฬาในชุมชน รวมทั้งเพื่อส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนทั่วไปใส่ใจสุขภาพ และส่งเสริมความรักความสามัคคีให้เกิดกับชุมชน สำหรับรายได้หลังหักค่าใช้จ่ายแล้ว จะนำไปสร้างสนามเด็กเล่นให้แก่โรงเรียนเทศบาลปลูกปัญญาในพระอุปถัมภ์ฯ

การจัดงาน “ปลูกปัญญาไนท์ไรด์” ครั้งที่ 2 จะมีขึ้นในวันที่ 30 เมษายน 2559 โดยเส้นทางการปั่นจักรยาน มีจุดปล่อยตัวที่บริเวณหน้าศูนย์การค้าไลม์ไลท์อเวนิวภูเก็ต – ไปตามเส้นทางสายวัฒนธรรมอำเภอกะทู้ – โรงเหล้ากะทู้ และกลับมาเข้าเส้นชัยที่หน้าศูนย์การค้าไลม์ไลท์อเวนิวภูเก็ต รวมระยะทาง 23 กิโลเมตร
