บิ๊กเบนซ์ ปริยวิศว์ อัจฉริยะฉาย กล่าวว่า รู้สึกเป็นเกียรติอย่างยิ่งที่วันนี้ ได้มีโอกาสมาร่วมในพิธีเปิดการแข่งขันฟุตบอล 7 คน ช้าง พรีเซ้นต์ รีพับบลิกคัพ 2014 ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นรายการที่ใหญ่ที่สุดของสนาม รีพับบลิกคัพ ภูเก็ต ประจำปี 2014 โดยที่เราได้ร่วมมือกับบริษัท ไทยเบฟเวอเรท จำกัด มหาชน บริษัท AIR Football Concept Store ผู้นำอุปกรณ์กีฬาชื่อดัง ได้ร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมครั้งนี้ขึ้นมา โดยจะทำการแข่งขันในวันเสาร์ที่ 6 – 12 ธันวาคม 2557 ที่สนามรีพับบลิก หมู่บ้านเจ้าฟ้าธานี

สำหรับวัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดครั้งนี้ เพื่อเป็นการสนับสนุนการออกกำลังกายในเชิงกีฬาฟุตบอล และเป็นกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคม ที่เชิญชวนให้ทุกคนมาใช้เวลาว่างให้เป็นประโยชน์ ห่างไกลยาเสพติดอีกทั้งยังเป็นการเปิดโอกาส ให้นักฟุตบอลทุกระดับได้มีโอกาส มีเวทีแสดงฝีเท้า และเล่นฟุตบอลกันอย่างมีสปิริต มีน้ำใจนักกีฬา ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นสิ่งสำคัญมากทีเดียว

อีกประการหนึ่งเพื่อเป็นการยกระดับและพัฒนาความสามารถของนักฟุตบอลในจังหวัดภูเก็ตและใกล้เคียง ทั้งในส่วนของนักเตะ ผู้จัดการทีม และกองเชียร์ เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับที่จังหวัดภูเก็ตของเรานั้นได้มีทีมฟุตบอลอาชีพ ซึ่งในปัจจุบัน แข่งขันอยู่ในลีกดิวิชั่น 1 ของไทย อย่างทีมภูเก็ตเอฟซี รายการนี้อาจจะเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของใครบางคนเพื่อก้าวไปสู่สายอาชีพฟุตบอลก็เป็นได้
