อบจ.ภูเก็ต ร่วมประชุมคณะกรรมการอนุสรณ์สถานเมืองถลาง เพื่อติดตามความก้าวหน้าในการดำเนินการ

เมื่อวันที่ 18 กุมภาพันธ์ 2558 เวลา 13.30 น. นายไพบูลย์ อุปัติศฤงค์ นายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดภูเก็ต พร้อมด้วย นางวาสนา ศรีวิลัย ผู้อำนวยการกองช่าง อบจ.ภูเก็ต และหน่วยงานต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง เข้าร่วมการประชุมคณะกรรมการอนุสรณ์สถานเมืองถลาง (ครั้งที่ 2) โดยมี นายนิสิต จันทร์สมวงศ์ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธาน ณ ห้องประชุม ชั้น 1 ศาลากลางจังหวัดภูเก็ต

ทั้งนี้ ตามที่จังหวัดภูเก็ตได้ดำเนินการก่อสร้างอนุสรณ์สถานเมืองถลาง เพื่อเป็นการเชิดชูวีรกรรมของวีรสตรีแก่ท้าวเทพกระษัตรี ท้าวศรีสุนทร ผู้กล้าเมืองถลาง ให้เป็นสถานที่อันศักดิ์สิทธิ์และเป็นสถานที่ศูนย์รวมจิตใจให้ทุกคนได้ตระหนักถึงคุณงามความดีของบรรพบุรุษที่ได้รักษาบ้านเมืองไว้จนรุ่นหลังได้อาศัยและให้เยาวชนไทยเรียนรู้และรู้สึกรักชาติรักแผ่นดิน โดยดำเนินการก่อสร้าง ณ อำเภอถลาง จังหวัดภูเก็ต โดยปัจจุบันโครงการดังกล่าวได้มีการก่อสร้างอนุสาวรีย์แล้วเสร็จเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้วและยังมีส่วนที่ต้องดำเนินการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ตลอดจนบริหารจัดการโครงการให้สำเร็จลุล่วงและดำเนินการอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ซึ่งได้มีการประชุมคณะกรรมการอนุสาวรีย์สถานเมืองถลาง ไปแล้วเมื่อวันที่ 24 ตุลาคม 2557 และการประชุมในครั้งนี้ เพื่อเป็นการติดตามความก้าวหน้าในการดำเนินการดังกล่าว

โดยได้มีการพิจารณาการจัดทำโครงการเพื่อขอรับการสนับสนุนงบประมาณ ประจำปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ.2558 รวมถึงแนวทางการซ่อมบำรุงสภาพชำรุดในบริเวณอนุสรณ์สถานเมืองถลางและผู้รับผิดชอบ เรื่องแบบปรับปรุงภูมิทัศน์รอบอนุสาวรีย์ 9 วีรชน เรื่องขอให้ทำรั้วเพิ่มเติมตามหลักฐานจุดหลักของกรมธนารักษ์ และเรื่องทุกหน่วยงานนำเสนอโครงการของทุกหน่วยงานที่จะมีในเขตพื้นที่ เพื่อความเชื่อมโยงและสอดคล้องกัน.
