จังหวัดภูเก็ตประกอบพิธีบวงสรวงกรมหลวงชุมพรฯเพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลในการจัดงานเทศกาลของดีจังหวัดภูเก็ตประจำปี 2560 ร่วมทั้งการจัดกิจกรรมการออกร้านของเหล่ากาชาดจังหวัด

เมื่อวันที่ 29 ธันวาคม  2559  เวลา 09.09 น. ที่ ศาลกรมหลวงชุมพรเขตอุดมศักดิ์ สะพานหิน อ.เมือง จ.ภูเก็ต นายโชคชัย เดชอมรธัญ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต และนางระวีวรรณ เดชอมรธัญ นายกเหล่ากาชาดจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานในพิธีบวงสรวงกรมหลวงชุมพรเขตอุดมศักดิ์ โดยมีการประกอบพิธีทางศาสนา 5 ศาสนา เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลในการจัดงานเทศกาลของดีเมืองภูเก็ต และงานกาชาดประจำปี 2560 โดยมี นายสนิท ศรีวิหค ,นายธีระ อนันตเสรีวิทยา,นางศิวพร ฉั่วสวัสดิ์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ตและหัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ข้าราชการ หน่วยงานราชการเกี่ยวข้อง ตลอดจนคณะกรรมการ และสมาชิกเหล่ากาชาดจังหวัดภูเก็ต เข้าร่วมในพิธี

พิธีบวงสรวงกรมหลวงชุมพรเขตอุดมศักดิ์จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลในการจัดงานเทศกาลของดีประจำปีของจังหวัด ร่วมทั้งการจัดกิจกรรมการออกร้านของเหล่ากาชาดจังหวัด โดยในปีนี้งานเทศกาลของดีภูเก็ตกำหนดจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 29 ธันวาคม 2559ถึงวันที่ 8 มกราคม 2560 ภายในงานจะมีกิจกรรมให้ร่วมสนุกมากมาย มีการออกร้านจำหน่ายของดีเมืองภูเก็ต การจัดงานได้ผนวกการจัดงานกาชาดของเหล่ากาชาดจังหวัดภูเก็ตเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงานเทศกาลของดีประจำปีเช่นทุกปี โดยงานออกร้านของเหล่ากาชาดจังหวัดในปีนี้ได้จัดกิจกรรมการออกร้าน “มัจฉากาชาด” และจำหน่ายสลากกาชาด เพื่อหารายได้เป็นค่าใช้จ่ายในการปฏิบัติภารกิจของสภากาชาดไทยและเหล่ากาชาดจังหวัดภูเก็ต ในการช่วยเหลือผู้ยากไร้ ผู้ด้อยโอกาส ผู้เจ็บป่วยในสังคม ฟื้นฟูผู้ประสบสาธารณภัยและภัยพิบัติต่าง ๆ ตลอดจนการให้ทุนการศึกษาแก่นักเรียนที่ด้อยโอกาส โดยกำหนดให้มีการออกรางวัลสลากกาชาดในคืนวันที่ 7 มกราคม 2560 เวลา 22.00 น. ณ เวทีกลางสะพานหิน อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดภูเก็ต
