จังหวัดภูเก็ตจัดพิธีพระราชทานเหรียญพิทักษ์เสรีชนและเหรียญราชการชายแกนแก่ทหารผ่านศึก

เมื่อวันที่ 26 กรกฎาคม  2559  ที่โรงแรมภูเก็ตเมอร์ลิน นายโชคดี อมรวัฒน์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดภูเก็ต เป็นประธานในพิธีรับพระราชทานเหรียญพิทักษ์เสรีชนและเหรียญราชการชายแดน โดยมี พลทหารมนัด ศิริเมก ประธานชมรมทหารผ่านศึกจังหวัดภูเก็ต หัวหน้าส่วนราชการและทหารผ่านศึกของจังหวัดภูเก็ต เข้าร่วม

พลทหารมนัด ศิริเมก กล่าวว่า ด้วยชมรมทหารผ่านศึกจังหวัดภูเก็ตร่วมกับชมรมแม่บ้านทหารผ่านศึกจังหวัดภูเก็ตได้ค้นหารายชื่อทหารผ่านศึกผู้ที่ได้รับเหรียญพระราชทานพิทักษ์เสรีชนและราชการชายแดน ตามที่ได้มีราชกิจจานุเบกษาและประกาศสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี เรื่องพระราชทานเหรียญพิทักษ์เสรีชนและเหรียญราชการชายแดนให้กับบุคคลต่าง ๆ ตามประกาศราชกิจจานุเบกษา ต่อมาทหารผ่านศึกผู้มีรายชื่อได้รับพระราชทานเหรียญฯ มอบอำนาจให้ประธานชมรมทหารผ่านศึกจังหวัดภูเก็ตเป็นผู้รับเหรียญพิทักษ์เสรีชนและเหรียญราชการชายแดนจากหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องรวมทั้งสิ้นจำนวน 114 เหรียญ โดยมีผู้ที่ได้รับพระราชทานเหรียญพิทักษ์เสรีชนและเหรียญราชการชายแดนมีจำนวน 28 ราย, ผู้ที่ได้รับพระราชทานเหรียญพิทักษ์เสรีชน จำนวน 47 นายและผู้ที่ไดรับพระราชทานเหรียญราชการชายแดนจำนวน 11 นาย

ทั้งนี้นายโชคดี อมรวัฒน์ ได้เปิดกรวยดอกไม้หน้าพระบรมฉายาลักษณ์และอัญเชิญเหรีญพระราชทานพิทักษ์เสรีชน เพื่อให้ทหารผ่านศึกษารับพระราชทานเหรียญฯ พร้อมให้โอวาทแก่ผู้เข้ารับพระราชทานเพื่อให้ทุกคนร่วมกันเทิดทูนสถาบันชาติ ศาสนาและพระมหากษัตริย์ตลอดไป
